Should I get rubber sole or metal spike cricket shoes?

Rubber sole shoes work across outdoor grass, astro, and most indoor surfaces, making them the safer all-round choice. Metal spikes give maximum grip on outdoor turf but aren't allowed in most indoor centres.

Can I use cricket spikes indoors?

No — metal spikes will damage indoor and astro surfaces, and most indoor centres won't permit them. Use a rubber sole shoe for indoor nets and matches.

Do cricket shoes run true to size?

Most ASICS and Adidas cricket shoes run true to standard UK sizing. If you wear thick match socks, consider sizing up half a size for a secure fit.

What's the difference between ASICS, Adidas, and New Balance cricket shoes?

All three offer performance cricket-specific soles and support; differences come down to fit (New Balance offers wider-fit options), weight, and price point. Check individual product pages for specific sole and fit details.
