Whether you're after a premium English willow bat or an affordable option for weekend club cricket, the right choice comes down to three things: willow type, grade, and size.
English willow
The choice for club and professional players. Better pickup, more power, and the traditional pale, clean-grain finish.
Kashmir willow
A heavier, more affordable alternative. A solid choice for beginners, juniors moving up in size, or casual and social cricket.
Grade 1
Straight, unbroken grain with minimal blemishes and the best performance available.
Grade 2
Very similar performance to Grade 1 with a few more visual blemishes — excellent value.
Grade 3
Good performing willow at a lower price point, popular with regular club and school players.
